In Japan, health insurance usually covers 70% of medical costs.
日本では健康保険を使うと、医療費の自己負担は通常**30％**です。
Please bring your health insurance card (or My Number health insurance card) when visiting a hospital or clinic.
病院やクリニックを受診する際は、**健康保険証（またはマイナ保険証）**を必ず持参してください。
If you visit a medical facility without insurance, you may be required to pay the full cost.

Appointments are not always required, but some clinics require reservations.
予約なしで受診できる医療機関もありますが、予約が必要な場合もあります。
You may need to pay the fee at the reception after your consultation.

Most hospitals and clinics have limited English support.

If you feel unwell at night or on holidays, emergency and on-call clinics are available.
夜間や休日に体調が悪くなった場合は、救急外来や休日当番医を利用できます。
In case of a medical emergency, please call 119 for an ambulance.
緊急の場合は、119番に電話して救急車を呼んでください。
Pharmacies (drugstores) provide prescribed medicine after a doctor’s visit.
処方された薬は、病院受診後に**薬局（ドラッグストア）**で受け取ります。
