Japan’s public transportation is safe and punctual.
日本の交通機関は、安全で時間に正確です。
IC cards such as Suica or PASMO are very convenient for trains and buses.
電車やバスでは、Suica・PASMOなどのICカードがとても便利です。
IC cards can also be used at convenience stores and vending machines.
ICカードは、コンビニや自動販売機でも利用できます。
Trains and buses usually operate on time, so please be punctual.
電車やバスは定刻運行が基本のため、時間を守ることが大切です。
When using public transportation, please be quiet and considerate of others.
公共交通機関では、静かにし、周囲の人への配慮を心がけましょう。
Priority seats are reserved for elderly people, pregnant women, and passengers with disabilities.
優先席は、高齢者・妊婦・体の不自由な方のための席です。
Driving in Japan requires a valid driver’s license.
日本で車を運転するには、有効な運転免許証が必要です。
An international driving permit or a Japanese driver’s license may be required.
国際運転免許証、または日本の運転免許証が必要になる場合があります。
Bicycles are widely used, but registration and traffic rules must be followed.
自転車は広く利用されていますが、防犯登録や交通ルールの遵守が必要です。
